  1. I liked the silent seminar because it allowed me to get instant feedback on my comments and see what other people thought of. By four different responses it allowed for a more well-rounded response to each question. The one thing I would change about the activity is the number of times you go around, I would go around only once and then discuss the answers to each question as a class. In regard to doing it again I wouldn't mind, but no one wants to sit there and write for a whole class.

  2. 1. Although I didn't exactly enjoy the activity, it forced my to think beyond the facts within documents and the content we've covered so far.
    2. One thing I would change about the activity would probably be to perhaps change the structure of just writing what you can in the allotted 7 minutes. Maybe answer the question given and offer a question of your own, or allow short discussion after each writing swap.
    3. If I had a choice, I would not like to do this again.

  3. I did not particularly enjoy the silent seminar, but I feel as though it did make me think and it helped solidify many facts. One thing I would change is how many times the paper was passed around. I would have liked to have a discussion at the end about each others opinions instead of just writing them. I would not like to do this activity again.

  4. I like the fact you were continuously writing engaging in questions that COULD be the essay question on the exam. I like the fact we shared everyone's thoughts in the group in our writing. One thing i would change is if we were able to talk to each other about a comment we disagreed or agreed in. I would like to do this again

  7. 1) I liked the fact that it acted as an impromptu forum. We were able to see if others agreed with our opinions on certain subjects, or if there was anything faulty with our understanding of an event.
2)I would shorten the time span a little bit so that by the end of the activity we would be able to really go through everyone's opinions within our groups.
    3)Yes!
